Cavs Look for First Win Against 24th Ranked Ashland in Home Opener

Walsh (0-1, 0-1) opens the home season this Saturday at 12 pm at Tom Benson Stadium against 24th ranked Ashland University (1-0, 0-1) in a GLIAC contest. Walsh lost its season opener 34-13 at Tiffin on Thursday, September 3.

Third year Head Coach Ted Karras (7-16, Walsh) returns 52 letter winners and 19 players who started last season.

FAST START:  Walsh took the opening drive 75 yards in nine plays and took a 7-0 lead when Jeremy Willison caught a five-yard TD pass from Jason Fracassa.

TICKETS: Two-for-one Tickets are available, while they last, at the Giant Eagle in Washington Square, right across the street from Walsh.

BROADCAST: The game will be broadcast live on WMPQ, 95.9 FM The Light, with live video streamed on TEAMLINE.
