Box Score (NORTH CANTON, Ohio) – Walsh fell to visiting Findlay in its return to GLIAC action by a score of 23-2 on a rainy Vasco Field on Friday afternoon. The Cavaliers fell to 4-10 overall and 0-10 in the GLIAC while the Oilers improved to 7-7 overall and 4-5 within the conference.
Findlay started off the game on a 5-0 before the Cavs scored with a goal by Aly Jajack from Lane Brunkala. Any momentum built quickly shifted back to Finlday as it closed the half on an 11-0 run.
Walsh's lone second half goal came on a free position shot by Jenny Spragg.
Findlay was led by Kyra Bradley with five goals and four assists.
The Cavs return to action in their penultimate home game against Tiffin this Sunday.
