(Rosemont, Ill.) - Walsh dropped two games on Saturday at the Dome Invitation.  The first game the Cavs fell to Missouri S&T 10-0 before being defeated by William Jewell 4-2.

Missouri S&T took the earlier lead scoring a run in the top of the first. Jenna Head had the lone hit for the Cavs with a double in the bottom of the first. The Miners then closed out the game 9-0.

Walsh trailed earlier in the second game of the day, going down 3-0 before Dani Murtaugh scored for the Cavs in the top of the fifth. William Jewell scored again in the bottom of the fifth to make in a 4-1 ballgame. Kelsey Putman doubled to center to bring Nikki Newman home to close out the game at 4-2 in the bottom of the seventh.

The Cavs travel to Florida next week to play 14 games during a spring break trip.
