Box Score 1 (NORTH CANTON, Ohio) - Walsh softball fell to Hillsdale in a two game series on Saturday afternoon. The Cavs now sit at 9-28 overall and 1-13 in conference play.
Walsh dropped game one 6-1 to Hillsdale. The Chargers started off hot with a two run homer in the top of the first inning. They scored the next four runs to go up 6-0.
Walsh's lone run of the game came in the bottom of the 7th by Kendra Moore off of Abby Ruesser's double. Leah Roten went two-of-three on the game with two singles.
Game two was cut short after six innings as the Chargers defeated the Cavs 8-0.
Olivia Pifer had four strikeouts on the day.
The Cavs will be back in action of Tuesday afternoon against Tiffin at home. They are set for a double header and 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.
