Box Score (MARQUEETE, Mich.) - The Walsh women's lacrosse team won its final game of the season 19-7 against Northern Michigan at the Superior Dome on Friday night. The Cavs finished their season at 8-8 overall to set a new program record for wins in a season.
The Cavs had their best season in history as they went .500 or better for the first time. The win also snapped a six-game losing streak for the Maroon and Gold.
Maria Nobile led the Cavs with four goals and one assist on the game. Aly Jajack, Sam Paulson and Sarah McCormick each contributed three goals. Jajack had two assists on the night as well.
Mikaela Faus got the win in goal with 13 saves.
