NORTH CANTON, Ohio - After an overtime battle last week at home, the Walsh Cavaliers football team travels to Ohio's capital city, Columbus for a G-MAC matchup with the Ohio Dominican Panthers on Saturday (Oct. 26) at 12:00 PM.

Walsh fell to West Liberty 41-38 in a non-conference overtime battle last week for Homecoming. The Cavaliers dropped to 1-6 on the season after the team's second straight loss.

Deondre Cook caught three passes for a total of 85 yards.

Walsh's defense forced six turnovers in the contest with three interceptions and three fumbles forced.

Myles Williams won G-MAC Defensive Player of the Week after a 12 tackle day, two interceptions and a fumble recovery.

Zach Sturmi took one interception back 51 yards for a pick six as Walsh led 28-17 in the second quarter.

Walsh is 4-9 against the Panthers as they have not beaten ODU since the program's inception in Division II.
