NORTH CANTON, Ohio - After an overtime battle last week at home, the Walsh Cavaliers football team travels to Ohio's capital city, Columbus for a G-MAC matchup with the Ohio Dominican Panthers on Saturday (Oct. 26) at 12:00 PM.

The Opening Kickoff

• Walsh fell to West Liberty 41-38 in a non-conference overtime battle last week for Homecoming. The Cavaliers dropped to 1-6 on the season after the team's second straight loss.
• Nick Gassman threw for a career-high 286 yards on 11 passes with three touchdowns in the loss. Gassman completed two touchdown passes to Koby Adu-Poku, including a 77-yard TD pass in the 1st quarter and a 31-yard TD in the 3rd. The 3rd touchdown was a 38-yard TD pass to Aidan Tuttle in the 2nd quarter. 
• Adu-Poku compiled 127 recieving yards on four catches, averaging 31.8 yards per catch. Deondre Cook caught three passes for a total of 85 yards. 
• Walsh's defense forced six turnovers in the contest with three interceptions and three fumbles forced. 
• Myles Williams won G-MAC Defensive Player of the Week after a 12 tackle day, two interceptions and a fumble recovery. 
• Zach Sturmi took one interception back 51 yards for a pick six as Walsh led 28-17 in the second quarter. 
• Walsh is 4-9 against the Panthers as they have not beaten ODU since the program's inception in Division II.

• EJ Colston has six touchdowns on the ground with 426 yards rushing. 
• The Panthers defense returned two interceptions for touchdowns last week against the KWC Panthers. 

Walsh will return home for the final home game of the 2019 season next Saturday (Nov. 2). The Cavaliers will host Kentucky Wesleyan under the lights for Senior Night at 7:30 PM.
