NORTH CANTON, Ohio - Following a thrilling 27-24 win over Kentucky Wesleyan last week, the Walsh Cavaliers football team heads to West Virginia for the G-MAC finale against the Alderson Broaddus Battlers. Kickoff on Saturday (Nov. 9) is set for 1:00 PM from AB MultiSport Performance Stadium.

Walsh snapped a three-game losing streak as they rallied for a 27-24 win over Kentucky Wesleyan in the home finale last week. The Cavaliers scored 21 unanswered points and won the game with 13 seconds on the clock.

Nick Gassman found
Quinn Thomas in the left corner of the endzone for the 11-yard game-winning touchdown. Gassman completed nine passes for 154 yards and three touchdowns with one interception.

Koby Adu-Poku was named G-MAC Offensive Player of the Week after he accumulated 276 all-purpose yards. He caught four passes for 128 yards (scoring on two of them), ran the ball 16 times for 64 yards and had 85 yards of kickoff returns.

Devin Kenerly had nine carries for 53 yards, including a 28-yard TD run in the third quarter.

The offense set a season-high with 373 total yards of offense (199 passing/174 rushing).

Morgan Trust earned G-MAC Defensive Player of the Week honors following a night of seven tackles, two TFL and 1.5 sacks. He leads the G-MAC with 8.5 sacks this season.

This is the third matchup with Alderson Broaddus and the first that will occur away from Canton. The first three matchups have been in Canton, where Walsh is 2-0.
