(NORTH CANTON, Ohio) - The Walsh University softball team split today's (April 12) two game series with the Davis & Elkins Senators. The Cavaliers won the first game of the day 6-2 but fell in the second game 4-0, putting their overall record at 9-31 and 5-13 in conference play. 

Game One Highlights 
-Emma Bobey had a double that scored the first two runs of the game, then singled to score the third run of the game
-Katelyn Kennedy hit a double scoring one run
-Katelyn Loughman, Jessie Rock, Alex Depue, and Annie Dehnke all had one hit
-Allison Harper pitched a complete game, only giving up eight hits and striking out two batters 

Game Two Highlights 
-Loughman, Rock, Bobey, Brooke Six, and Abbey Yaugher all were able to put the bat on the ball for one hit a piece
-Ellie Smith started the game in the circle, striking out three batters
-Sara Gockenbach relieved her for four innings, giving up zero runs 

The Cavs will play again tomorrow (April 13) against Alderson Broaddus starting at 1:00 PM.
