(NORTH CANTON, Ohio) - The Walsh University softball team faced the Findlay Oilers on a beautiful afternoon at the Walsh Softball Complex in a conference double-header. The Cavs fell to the Oilers 7-5 in the first game and 16-1 in the second, taking them to 8-30 overall and 5-7 in the G-MAC.

Game One Highlights:

• Jessie Rock - two hits, including a homerun, two RBI
• Katelyn Loughman - two hits, one RBI
• Brooke Six - two doubles, one RBI
• Allison Harper and Shelbi Gregg split time in the circle

Game Two Highlights:

• Rock - RBI in the bottom of the first
• Loughman - singled up the middle
• Katelyn Kennedy - singled to the pitcher
• Six - singled to third base
• Annie Dehnke - singled to third base
• Ellie Smith, Sara Gockenbach, and Gregg shared time in the circle

Rebecca Harvey and Caroline Turner led the Oilers with three hits a piece in game one. Megan Fisher earned the win for the Oilers. Harvey once again led with three hits in the second game, including a homerun and a double, and had five RBI. Hailey Bryan earned the win, pitching a complete game.

The Cavs will head to Davis & Elkins on Friday (April 12) and Saturday (April 13).
