NORTH CANTON, Ohio - After two straight home games, the Walsh Cavaliers football team will depart campus for a G-MAC road matchup with the Hillsdale College Chargers on Saturday (Sept. 28) afternoon. Kickoff between the Cavaliers and the Chargers is set for 1:00 PM from Frank "Muddy" Waters Stadium.
GAMEDAY INFORMATION
The Opening Kickoff
- After two straight home games, Walsh will head on the road for two consecutive road conference games. The Cavaliers will meet the Chargers of Hillsdale College at 1:00 PM on Saturday.

Walsh was held scoreless in a 52-0 loss to Tiffin in the conference opener.

Tadas Tatarunas made his first career start and completed nine of 20 passes for 72 yards.

Koby Adu-Poku rushed for 44 yards on 16 carries as Adu-Poku has been quiet in the first three games of the year. He totaled 97 yards on five kickoff returns for the Cavaliers.

Lee Hurst made three catches for 30 yards with
Bernard Bates caught a pair of catches for 29 yards.

The Cavaliers and the Chargers have met only three times in the series despite being in the GLIAC and G-MAC together since 2012. Hillsdale has won all three matchups so far, most recently a 28-9 Hillsdale win in 2018.

- Hillsdale broke up an 0-2 start with a 34-14 win over Lake Erie in the Chargers' homecoming game. They enter this week 1-2 overall and 1-0 in the conference.
- David Graham was named G-MAC Offensive Player of the Week after rushing for 232 yards and 3 touchdowns in last week's win over Lake Erie. His rushing attack against the Storm put him third in single game history for the conference. Graham ranks seventh in D2 for single-game rushing yards this season.
- The Chargers have won 13 straight G-MAC games, dating back to October 21st, 2017.
Walsh will face the Storm of Lake Erie College next Saturday (Oct. 5) at 3:00 PM at Jack Britt Memorial Stadium.
