Box Score 2 NORTH CANTON, OH- The Walsh Cavaliers fell to the Trevecca Nazarene Trojans Saturday (March 27th) in their first conference double-header of the season. The Cavaliers lost by a score of 1-5 in the first game and 3-9 in the second game.
Score: Walsh 1, Trevecca 5 & Walsh 3, Trevecca 9

Records: Walsh 10-8 (0-2), Trevecca 12-6 (2-0)
GAME ONE
Walsh came out strong in game number one as they would score the first run of the series in the bottom of the third. An Emma Bobey double allowed teammate Ellie Jackson to score the Cavalier's only run for the remainder of the game.
Trevecca tied the game in the top of the fifth with a double. The trojans would go on to score two more runs, making the score 3-1. Catcher Matti Byrd homored in the top of the sixth to make the final score 5-1.
Pitcher Sara Gockenbach pitched a total of six innings with two strikeouts. Emma Bobey led Walsh in hitting at one RBI and two total hits for the day. Sarah Moats, Jessie Rock, and Katelyn Loughman recorded one hit each.
For the Trojans, MaKray Odom, Brooke Eakes, and Abbie Page totaled a pair of hits a piece. Raygn Hall pitched six total innings where she allowed four hits.
GAME TWO
Emily Pratt took the circle for Walsh in game two. The Trojans continued their dominance on offense as they scored seven straight runs in the first five innings. Down 7-0, Jessie Rock recorded her 17th RBI for the season, cutting the Trojan lead to five.
Trevecca scored two more runs in the top of the seventh to extend their lead 9-2.
Outfielder Katelyn Loughman doubled in the bottom of the seventh, sending Bryn Elliott home.
