Box Score 2 COLUMBUS, OH- The Cavaliers split with the Ohio Dominican Panthers Saturday (April 10th) afternoon. The Panthers outscored the Cavaliers by a score of 6-1 in the first game of the series. Walsh prevailed in the second game as they won by a score of 3-0.

GAME ONE
The Panthers jumped to a 6-0 lead in the first three innings of the game.
Katelyn Loughman reached second base on a double to center field in the top of the fourth. A Jessie Rock triple sent Loughman home to put the Cavaliers on the board for the first time in the game.
Despite a strong offensive effort in the fourth inning, Walsh was unable to score for the remainder of the game, making the final score 6-1.

- Carson Hackerd was 4-4 from the plate
GAME TWO
The Cavaliers started off strong as Sarah Moats led with a single to shortstop. Moats advanced to second on a sacrifice bunt by Katelyn Loughman. Jessie Rock hit a double to send Moats home and put Walsh up 1-0. Rock scored the second run of the game on a Kalin Kovach sac bunt. Walsh led 2-0 heading into the second inning.
Walsh remained hot at the plate as Clare Mewhinney singled through the right side to advance to first base. Mewhinney scored the third run on a Sarah Moats RBI double to right field to extend the Cavalier lead 3-0.
A strong defensive effort led by pitcher Sara Gockenbach prevented the Panthers from scoring for the entire game.
The Cavaliers would win by a score of 3-0 for their 17th win of the season and third conference win.
