Box Score NORTH CANTON, Ohio - The Walsh Cavaliers women's lacrosse team defeated the Ursuline College Arrows for the second time this week with an 18-6 win on Friday (April 16) at Larry Staudt Field. The 2021 senior class were honored pregame with a ceremony for Senior Night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Ursuline struck first with a goal three minutes into the game before Walsh tallied four straight goals in a two-minute period for a 4-1 lead. Lindsay Hindman scored twice while Melinda Maers (assisted by Hannah McFeeters) and Emily Atwood added goals. Over the final 17 minutes of the first half, Walsh outscored Ursuline 5-3 as Walsh answered for every goal that the Arrows scored. Kendra Cowen-Tripp and Ellen Lawrence each scored twice while McFeeters added one goal and one assist. Halle Kotulock assisted on McFeeters' goal as the first half was winding down. Walsh led 9-4 at halftime.
- Walsh started the second half with a 6-0 advantage in 14 minutes on goals from five different players. Maers scored twice while McFeeters, Hindman, Grace Andreski and Atwood added goals. Lawrence and Atwood had assists on two goals during the run as Walsh pushed the lead to 15-4 with 16:05 left. Ursuline scored with 13 minutes left to stop the run but Kotulock answered back with a free position shot two minutes later. After Ursuline scored their final goal of the game, Cowen-Tripp and Isabella Kelty finished the scoring with goals with one assisted by Lawrence.
