Box Score GREENSBURG, PA- The Cavaliers faced the nationally-ranked Seton Hill Griffins Friday (April 23rd) afternoon. Walsh was defeated by a score of 17-10 as Seton Hill, despite record-breaking performaces by Ellen Lawrence and Hannah McFeeters.

The Cavs and Griffins went wire-to-wire to start the game with the Griffins striking first to make the score 1-0. Walsh's Kendra Cowen-Tripp tied the game 1-1 on a free position goal. Seton Hill took the lead at 2-1 before #6 Lindsay Hindman answered with a goal assisted by Grace Andreski.
Tied 2-2, Seton Hill went on to score 11 additional goals to total 13 at the half.
Hannah McFeeters, Lindsay Hindman, and Melinda Maers all found the back of the net to put the Cavs within eight heading into the second half.
McFeeters led the Cavalier charge in the second half as she score two straight goals to cut Seton Hill's lead 13-7. The Griffins answered with their 14th goal of the game with 18:41 remaining.
Trailing 14-7, Lindsay Hindman scord her third goal of the game and the eighth for the Cavs.
The Griffins offensive charge proved too much for the Cavaliers to handle as they went on to score three straight goals.
Walsh's Kendra Cowen-Tripp and Hannah McFeeters scored the final two goals for a final score of 17-10.
FOR THE CAVS
- Hanna McFeeters led Walsh in scoring at four goals on the day while reaching the 100 goal mark for her career
- Ellen Lawrence shattered the career assist record with 60 total assists and three on the day
