Box Score 2 NORTH CANTON,OH- The Walsh Cavaliers Softball team split with the Ursuline Arrows Tuesday (April 27th) evening. The Cavs won the first game by a score of 9-0. The Arrows came back to win the second game of the series as they outscored Wash 8-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Cavs jumped to a 4-0 run in the bottom of the second as Jessie Rock reached second on a double to center field. A Riley Grimm single sent Rock home for the first run of the game. Cali Frascone, Kalin Kovach, and Clare Mewhinney followed to extend Walsh's lead.
Walsh's defense stood their ground as they prevented the Arrows from reaching homeplate for the remainder of play.
The Cavaliers went on to score five additional runs in the bottom of the fourth to end the first game in five innings with a final score of 9-0.
GAME TWO Walsh 0, Ursuline 8
- Riley Grimm recorded the only hit for the Cavaliers
- Alison Harper tabbed one strikeout in the fourth inning, the only of the game
HOW IT HAPPENED
Consistent offensive performance from the Arrows would have them score runs in the first four innings, while the Cavs remained scoreless. Nicole Rawlings totaled three hits and three RBIs, a game high.
