Box Score NORTH CANTON, OH- Six different Cavaliers scored as Walsh defeated Tiffin for their first G-MAC win of the season. The Cavaliers fought back after being down 7-4 at the half.

Walsh won their first conference game of the season as they defeated Tiffin University by a score of 13-11. Walsh started off hot as Lindsay Hindman scored the first goal of the game within the first minute, assisted by Ellen Lawrence. Tiffin struck back with a goal to tie the game 1-1.
Tiffin's offense proved to be too much for the Cavs as they outscored Walsh 7-4 heading into the second half.
Melinda Maers led the offensive charge at the start of the second half for the Cavaliers. Maers went on to score four total goals to help lead the Cavaliers to victory.
Other notable offensive performances for the Maroon and Gold included Kendra Cowen-Tripp with a hat-trick and four ground balls. Chlow Tatlow and Hannah McFeeters each contributed a pair of goals on the day. McFeeters would go on to lead the team in groundballs at six. Morgan Miller scored the 13th goal for the Cavaliers late in the second half to solidify the Walsh victory.
The Walsh defense held their ground under goalie Kathleen Mendenhall with six saves on 11 goals attempted.
