Box Score NORTH CANTON, OH- The Walsh Cavaliers have advanced to the G-MAC championship with a win over the Ursuline College Arrows Thursday (May 6th). The Cavs won by a score of 19-3 with seven different players contributing to the final score.

Walsh started off hot as Lindsay Hindman put the Cavs on the board two minutes into the game with a goal assisted by Kendra Cowen-Tripp. Cowen-Tripp then followed by scoring three straight goals, two of which were assisted by Ellen Lawrence.
The Cavaliers extended their lead 13-0 before heading into the second half. A strong defensive effort led by goalie Kathleen Mendenhall forced Ursuline to nine turnovers in the half while only allowing four shots on goal.
Walsh remained dominant on offense as they scored an additional three goals to make the score 16-0. Isabella Kelty led the charge as she scored her third and fourth goals of the game to start the half.
Ursuline's Jaclyn Gilmore put the Arrows on the board for the first time of the game on a free postion shot 10 minutes into the second half.
Three more Cavalier goals by Hannah McFeeters, Emily Atwood, and Lindsay Hindman would total 19 goals for Walsh. Usruline went on to score two additional goals to make the final score 19-3.
