AKRON, Ohio - With the 2022 Great Midwest Championships happening next week, the #24 ranked Walsh Cavaliers women's track and field team prepared by competing in the Al Campbell Invitational and the Jud Logan Memorial Tune Up this past weekend.
Alexa Leppelmeier was one of two runners to compete in the Al Campbell Invitational at Akron on Friday (Feb. 18) as she paced the field in the Mile. Leppelmeier ran the 14th best time in D2 and 10th best in the G-MAC record books. She hit a provisional mark with a time of 4:49.63 with her teammate Alex Bauer in third place and another NCAA Division II Provo mark.
Kelsey Hartsock (3.90 meters) and Ndidiamaka Anaraodo (15.19 meters) both finished second and hit provo marks at the Jud Logan Memorial Tune Up on Saturday (Feb. 19) at Kent State.
