FINDLAY, Ohio - For the 2022 Great Midwest Indoor Track & Field Championships held at the University of Findlay, the Walsh Cavaliers women's track and field team ended with a sixth-place team finish. 

As the team finished sixth, there were seven podium finishes, including three individual champions. Alexa Leppelmeier came away with the titles in the Mile and 3000 Meter Run. Leppelmeier was named Women's Track Athlete of the Meet, the fourth straight year a Walsh runner has won. Ndidiamaka Anaraodo won the Shot Put title. 

For her pair of second place finishes, Alex Bauer was awarded Freshman of the Meet.

5^th Place Finishes

• Style Henry (Long Jump): 5.34 meters

6^th Place Finishes

• Payton Knoch (60 Hurdles): 8.96 seconds 
• Skyler Stewart (Pentathlon): 2,876 points

7^th Place Finishes

• Style Henry (60 Meters): 7.80 seconds
• Claire Martin (Triple Jump): 10.75 meters

8th Place Finishes

• 4x400 Relay (Talia McLin, Rebecca Bodo, Laura Rodgers, Lexie Engstrom): 4:22.38
• Distance Medley Relay (Laura Rodgers, Andi Mann, Libby Howard, Iris Menegay): 13:08.42
• Claire Martin (Long Jump): 5.19 meters
• Toni Denmark (Pentathlon): 2,806 points

2022 NCAA Indoor Track & Field National Qualifiers will be announced on March 1.
