FINDLAY, Ohio - For the 2022 Great Midwest Indoor Track & Field Championships held at the University of Findlay, the Walsh Cavaliers women's track and field team ended with a sixth-place team finish.
As the team finished sixth, there were seven podium finishes, including three individual champions. Alexa Leppelmeier came away with the titles in the Mile and 3000 Meter Run. Leppelmeier was named Women's Track Athlete of the Meet, the fourth straight year a Walsh runner has won. Ndidiamaka Anaraodo won the Shot Put title.
For her pair of second place finishes, Alex Bauer was awarded Freshman of the Meet.
