Box Score SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio - The Walsh Cavaliers women's lacrosse team found a big way to snap their three-game losing streak on the road at Mueller Field. Walsh scored the first six goals of the game, winning by a final score of 16-9 on Wednesday (March 16).
Six different players scored goals as three players had multi-goal games in the 16 goal outburst. Hannah McFeeters scored six goals with five of them coming in the first half. The senior tallied seven points as she added one assist. Melinda Maers found the back of the net four times on eight shots. Rachel Black scored four points with three goals and an assist. Isabella Kelty had a multi-point game with one goal and two assists. Lindsay Hindman and Grace Andreski each scored one goal. Ellen Lawrence assisted on two goals for the Cavaliers.
Kathleen Mendenhall and Halle Kotulock each had three groundballs and combined for seven caused turnovers. Kotulock had four caused turnovers as Mendenhall made 11 saves in goal.
Walsh returns to action at home next Friday (March 25) against #1 Indianapolis at 6:00 PM.
