Box Score 2 OWENSBORO, KY- The Cavaliers had some big rallies in a doubleheader split with Kentucky Wesleyan on Friday (March 25th). Emma Bobey had seven hits on the day and Jessie Rock had five, including some clutch at-bats.

GAME ONE (W 8-7) :
- After being down 1-0 after the first inning, an Emma Bobey RBI tied the game 1-1 in the top of the second
- Kentucky Wesleyan took the lead in the bottom of the third to make the score 2-1 heading into th fourth inning
- Jessie Rock hit a solo-homerun in the top of the fourth to tie the game 2-2
- Walsh extended their lead in the fifth after Bryn Elliott singled to first base to start the inning
- Elliott avanced to second on a Sarah Moats single to left field
- Brooklyn Hellman reached second on a throwing error as Brynn Elliott scored to put the Cavs ahead 3-2
- Sarah Moats scored an unearned run to make the score 4-2 as Katelyn Loughman reached first base on an error
- With runners on second and third, Emma Bobey hit a two-run RBI to right center to extend the Walsh lead 6-2
- The Panthers struck back as they scored five runs in the bottom of the fifth to take the lead 7-6
- Sarah Moats singled to left field to start out the sixth inning
- A Katelyn Loughman RBI to left center tied the game 7-7
- With Loughman on second base, Jessie Rock doubled down the left field line as Loughman scored the winning run
- Sarah Gockenbach and Olivia Betson combined for a total of seven strikeouts
- Betson allowed only one hit and earned her first win of the season, improving to 1-1
- Emma Bobey led the Cavaliers with four hits
GAME TWO (L 4-5):
- The Cavaliers rallied in the top of the seventh after being down 3-0
- With bases loaded, Jessie Rock hit a grand slam to left field to put Walsh ahead 4-3
- The Panthers answered in the bottom of the seventh as they scored two runs to make the final score 5-4
- Emma Bobey led the Cavs in hits a for the second consecutive game as she recorded three for a total of seven on the day
- The pitching trio of Olivia Betson, Alison Harper, and Sarah Cantley combined for six strikeouts
