Box Score PEPPER PIKE, Ohio - The Walsh Cavaliers women's lacrosse team broke their own school record for goals scored in a 28-2 win over the Ursuline Arrows on Thursday (April 14) in Pepper Pike, Ohio.
Walsh scored 11 goals in the first quarter and the first 14 goals in the game. Later in the game, Walsh had runs of 8-0 and 6-0 that bookended the Arrows' second goal.
Ten different players scored multiple goals, with Ellen Lawrence scoring six goals in the first quarter alone. Hannah McFeeters scored four goals in the game while Kaytlyn Tokar and Lindsay Hindman both had three goals. Six other players had two goals each: Isabella Kelty, Grace Santee, Rachel Black, Sidney Klinger, Chloe Tatlow and Melinda Maers.

Black led the Cavaliers with three assists while Kelty had two assists. Tatlow, Hindman, Grace Andreski and Francisca Hainley had one assist each.
Hindman, Andreski and Santee all had four draw controls each.
Kathleen Mendenhall made three saves in 34 minutes of action. Megan Morris played the final 26 minutes with one goal allowed.
Walsh continues Great Midwest play in Painesville, Ohio on Saturday (April 16) at 4:00 PM against the Lake Erie Storm.
