PAINESVILLE, OH- The Walsh Cavaliers recorded their ninth win of the season Saturday (April 16th) over the Lake Erie College Storm. 12 different Cavaliers scored in the win including eight scoring multiple goals. 

Score: Walsh 26, Lake Erie 4

Records: Walsh 9-5 (7-1), Lake Erie 2-10 (1-7)

Location: Jack Britt Field (Painesville Ohio)

FOR WALSH:

• Grace Andreski and Hannah McFeeters led the Cavaliers in scoring at four goals a piece
• Lindsay Hindman and Rachel Black added a trio of goals. Black also dished out four assists on the day along with #4 Isabella Kelty
• A pair of goals came from Melinda Maers, Ellen Lawrence, Grace Santee, and Kaytlyn Tokar
• Maers also caused a game-high two turnovers
• Madison Bays picked up a game-high four ground balls
• Kathleen Mendenhall recorded five saves on nine shots
• The Cavaliers went on a 14-0 run before the Storm scored their first goal with 3:27 remaining in the first half
• Walsh forced Lake Erie to 16 turnovers and picked up 24 total ground balls

FOR LAKE ERIE:

• Erin Snyder, Shannon Smith, Allie Smith, and Cynthia Saxby all scored unassisted goals for the Storm
• Saxby, Allie Smith, and Emma Rhoades picked up a pair of ground balls each
• Goalie Abbot Brandt had seven saves on the day
