Box Score 2 NORTH CANTON, OH- The Walsh University Cavaliers split with the Ursuline College Arrows Thursday (April 21st) in a conference doubleheader. Jessie Rock, Katelyn Loughman, Sarah Moats, and Ashley Zgodzinsk each hit one homerun on the day as the Cavaliers won the first game 11-4 and fell in the second game 6-4.
Records: Walsh 7-19 (3-11), Ursuline 9-17 (7-5)

GAME ONE (W 11-4):
- The Arrows struck first as they jumped to a 4-0 lead through the third inning
- Walsh answered as McKenna Voiers singled through the left side at the top of the fourth. With runners on first and second, Emma Bobey hit a two-run RBI double to put the Cavs on the board.
- A Jessie Rock two-run homerun tied the game 4-4 in the top of the sixth inning. Kalin Kovach hit an RBI single to center field as Walsh took their first lead of the game.
- Sarah Moats hit a three-run homerun to extend the Cavalier lead 8-4
- Rock hit recorded her second hit of the inning on a two-run RBI double to left center.
- Up 10-4 Emma Bobey hit her second RBI of the game to make the final score 11-4
- The pitchiing duo of Sara Gockenbach and Olivia Betson combined for three strikeouts on the day
- Betson improved to 2-2 on the season
GAME TWO (L 6-4):
- Katelyn Loughman tied the game 1-1 in the top of the second with a solo homerun to center field
- The Arrows took the lead 5-1 in the bottom of the second as they recorded two hits
- Madi Russo started off the fourth innin with a double to right field. An Emma Bobey RBI, her third of the series, put Walsh within three heading into the fifth inning
- Ashley Zgodzinsk hit a two-run homerun to left field to make the final score 6-4.
