NORTH CANTON, Ohio - With the 2022 Great Midwest Outdoor Track & Field Championships coming up next week in Owensboro, Kentucky, the Walsh Cavaliers women's track and field team competed in the Walsh Tune-Up on Thursday (April 28).
A handful of student-athletes competed at the Ashland Alumni Open on Friday (April 29) and Saturday (April 30).
In the home meet, Walsh had 18 podium finishes with five event wins. There were five provisional marks reached by three different student-athletes for the weekend. Kelsey Hartsock bettered her Thursday mark with the 12th best mark in Division II at Ashland. Ndidiamaka Anaraodo moved to third in D2 in the Shot Put. Alexa Leppelmeier hit her fourth different provo mark of the season.
