Box Score 2 NORTH CANTON,OH- The Walsh Cavaliers split with the Cedarville Yellowjackets in a conference doubleheader Friday (April 29th). Kalin Kovach, Jessie Rock, and Sarah Moats tallied homers on the day.
Score: Game One: Cedarville 5, Walsh 2; Game Two: Walsh 5, Cedarville 1
Records: Walsh 9-23 (5-14), Cedarville 24-17 (8-11)

GAME ONE (L, 5-2):
- The Yellowjackets jumped to a 2-0 lead in the top of the first as they connected on three hits. Cedarville extended their lead 4-0 in the top of the fourth.
- The Cavaliers answered as they connected on two hits in the bottom of the fourth. Kalin Kovach hit a solo homerun to put Walsh on the board. Jessie Rock followed with a homerun to make the score 4-2 heading into the fifth inning.
- The pitching tandum of Alison Harper and Olivia Betson combined for four strikeouts and allowed 11 hits
GAME TWO (W, 5-1):
- The Cavs struck first as Sarah Moats led off with a single to left field. Moats scored the first run of the game as Jessie Rock reached first base on an error by left field.
- An Emma Bobey double to center field made the score 2-0 heading into the second inning.
- Walsh extended their lead by one as Sarah Moats hit another single in the bottom of the third. A sacrifice bunt by Brooklyn Hellman advanced Moats to second. Moats scored Walsh's third run on a Kalin Kovach RBI.
- Cedarville cut the Cavalier lead to two as they connected on three hits to score their only run of the game.
- A Sarah Moats solo homer in the bottom of the fifth made the score 4-1.
- The Cavaliers went on to score one more run to make the final score 5-1.
- Sarah Cantley pitched all seven innings and allowed only nine hits
