Box Score TIFFIN, Ohio - As conference play continued for the Walsh Cavaliers women's lacrosse team, they traveled to Tiffin for a rematch of the 2021 Great Midwest Women's Lacrosse Championship.
Friday's game saw the Cavaliers erupt from a 2-0 deficit with a 15-1 run in the first half. Using a span of 13 straight goals, Walsh cruised to an 19-7 win as they moved to 4-0 in the conference.
Five different players had multi goal games on the day while eight players scored a goal in the game.
Hannah McFeeters had seven points on four goals and three assists with eight draw controls. Melinda Maers scored four goals and picked up three groundballs. Lindsay Hindman scored three times and assisted on one goal with three draw controls. Kaytlyn Tokar was a perfect three-for-three on shots with a trio of goals. Ellen Lawrence had six points total for the game with two goals and four assists.
The following players had two points with one goal and one assist: Isabella Kelty, Grace Andreski and Rachel Black. Halle Kotulock grabbed two groundballs and controlled three draws. Madison Bays and Kathleen Mendenhall each had three groundballs.
Mendenhall had six saves on 13 shots in goals.
Walsh heads to Findlay on Sunday (April 10) for a conference matchup.
