NORTH CANTON, OH- On a beautiful spring day at Larry Staudt Field, the Walsh Cavaliers Women's Lacrosse team kept their winning streak alive after defeating Findlay, 13-8 on Wednesday (April 12). In the first half, Walsh and Findlay would go back and forth in scoring by going into the half tied up at four. The Cavaliers would come out strong in the third quarter, scoring four goals to secure the lead, 8-4. In the fourth quarter, the Cavaliers would give up four goals but the offense continued to find the net, scoring five goals to secure the victory, 13-8. In the past four games, the Cavs have only given up 15 goals and have scored 69 goals. The Cavs are still undefeated in the G-MAC at 4-0 and 10-2 on the season.

FOR THE CAVALIERS

• Isabella Kelty totaled five points on the day with four goals and one assist.  

• Katie Coomes scored three goals and assisted on one goal for a four-point day.  

• Rachel Black found the back of the net twice with one assist.  

• Melinda Maers tallied two goals for the Cavaliers. 

• Lindsay Hindman and Sequoia DeLeu each scored one goal. 

• Taylor Nagy picked up four grounds and caused four turnovers.  

• Kathleen Mendenhall recorded four saves with 60 minutes at goal.  

The Cavaliers will be back at home on Larry Staudt Field against Grand Valley State University on Friday, April 14th at 1 PM.
